The Loyola Libraries offers a variety of instruction sessions and workshops. On this page you will find information about upcoming workshops, ways to request course-specific instruction sessions, and other resources to aid both faculty and students with their instruction and research needs.

Course-Specific Instruction

The University Libraries offer synchronous and asynchronous library and information literacy instruction that is tailored to the needs of individual classes. If you are a faculty member who would like to request a course or project-specific instruction session, please contact your Subject Specialist or submit an Instruction Request.

Instruction Classroom

The Library Instruction Classroom in the Information Commons (IC 120) is unavailable until further notice.

Library Orientation

Library orientations and tours for individuals or groups are also available upon request. In person orientations are not available at this time, but the Libraries is able to provide virtual orientations. Please send your request to cud-ref@luc.edu.

Research Appointments

If you are looking for more in-depth and personalized assistance, please consider setting up a research appointment with one of our Subject Specialists, or submit a Research Appointment Request.

Research Guides

Research Guides provide targeted research guidance in every discipline and are a great place to begin one's research. Faculty can request course-related Research Guide pages to help their students with specific classes or research projects. Please send your request to your Subject Specialist or to cud-ref@luc.edu.
