- LUC Return to Campus Phase 3: mid-Fall Semester (Late September/Early October)
- Restore Illinois Phase 5
- Reopening Chicago Phase 5
Summary
In Stage 5, the Libraries will be providing the full range of services online and in our physical spaces. Cudahy Library will reopen for individual study, and access to book stacks will resume. Many library services will be offered in new formats or models, reflecting the emerging needs and expectations of library users and staff. The Libraries will begin Stage 5 in coordination with the campus as a whole, following the guidance of University Administration.
In Stage 5, the need for physical distancing will be dramatically reduced. While some COVID-19 testing may still be necessary, most users will be able to visit library buildings without regular testing. The Libraries will resume service levels that are similar to the pre-pandemic environment, but with proper safety precautions in place.
